Lamplighter Preschool is a not for profit, Registered Charitable organization, Registration Number: 107594582RR0001, that is owned and operated by the parents and is governed and operated by a Volunteer Parent Board of Directors which follows the Bylaws of the Corporation. We have a staff composed of fully qualified ECE’s with overall, day to day supervision provided by the Administrative Supervisor Ms. Cherilyn Eves.

The time commitment is not very great as there is usually just a single meeting every month. Business skills and experience with a corporate organization are no where near as important as enthusiasm and an understanding of how very important those first few years of a child’s life can be.
Our goal is to continue to meet or exceed the Provincial Standards for Childcare while recognizing that as a not for profit organization our responsibility is to our customers. They are the parents of the children who attend our preschool.
For over 30 years the dedicated staff at Lamplighter Preschool has been watching over the children of Napanee and the surrounding areas.
To continue to do that we need your help, your time and presence will help energize our Board of Directors and ensure that what happens at Lamplighter is in the best interests of the children and their parents.
