Lamplighter Preschool is licensed to offer care for Infants, toddlers and Preschool at children ranging from 0 to 6 years old. We operate from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.
| Infant Room: |
Our Infant Room is licensed for 6 infants aged 0 – 18 months. The staff ratio is 1 staff for every 3 infants. The fee is $26.46 a day. Full time and part time options may be available. Our part time options are 2 or 3 SET days/wk.
Based on individual needs and parents written instructions, the Infant Program may follow the routine outlined below. All times are estimate.
-Sleeping infants are placed in the sleep room and monitored with visual checks and with baby monitor on.
-Hungry infants are fed according to parents instructions.
-Diaper changes when necessary.
-Walking infants engage in sensory/art experience.
9:45 – 10:30 – Outside time** in Infant/Toddler Yard
-Younger walkers may play outside, and non-walkers may engage in tummy time/blanket time encouraging gross motor and fine motor skills with staff and various toys.
-All may stroller ride at staff discretion adhering to ratios and emergency procedures. This usually starts around 9:50-11:15.
10:30 – 11:15 – Play, floor time, diaper time, wash, ready for feedings/lunch
11:20 – 11:55 – Lunch
11:55 – 12:45 – Diaper time, settle for naps
12:45 – 2:45 – Wake up, diaper time
2:45 – 3:30 – Snacks / feedings
3:30 – 5:30 – Play
-Continued active play, final feedings, floor time and interactions until closure OR Outside time
| Toddler Room: |
Our Toddler Room is licensed for 10 toddlers aged 18 months – 2 1/2 years old with a variance to accept 2 younger than 18 months, as long as they are competent walkers and can participate well in the program. Our staff ratio is 1 staff for every 5 Toddlers. The fee is $22.68 a day. Full time and part time options may be available. Our part time options are 2 or 3 SET days/wk.
Based on individual needs the Toddler Program may follow the routine outlined below. All times are estimate.
*Toddlers will mix in the Pre Room until ready to go to their own room – approx. 8:15am.
9:15 – 9:40 – Snack
9:40 – 9:50 – Diaper Time / Free Play
9: 50 – 10:15 – Circle Time
10:15-10:30 – Get ready for Outside
10:30 – 11:30 – Outside**
11:30 – 11:45 – Undress / Wash for Lunch
11:45 – 12:15 – Lunch
12:15 – 12:30 – Diaper Time / Ready for Nap
12:30 – 2:30 – Nap
2:30 – 3:00 – Wake up / Diaper Time / Free Play
3:00 – 3:30 – Snack
3:30 – 4:00 – Story / Tidy / Prep for Outside
4:00 – 5:30 – Outside / Departures**

Our Preschool Room is licensed for 16 preschoolers aged 2 ½ – 6 years old with a variance to accept 3 two year olds per day. The staff ratio is 1 staff for every 8 Preschoolers. The fee is $19.85 a day. Full time and part time options may be available. Our part time options are 2 or 3 SET days/wk.

9:00-9:40 – Snack / Free Play / Bathroom Time+
9:40 – 10:00 – Activities / Free Play
10:00 – 10:10 – Tidy for Circle
10:10-10:30 – Circle
10:30 – 11:30 – Outside**
11:30-12:15 – Lunch
12:15-1:00 – Free Play / Bathroom-Toothbrush Time
1:00-1:10 – Story
1:10 -2:30 – Rest time
2:30-3:00 – Wake up time / Bathroom Time
3:00 – 3:30 – Snack / Free Play
3:30-3:50 – Tidy / Prepare for Outside.

Attendance Lamplighter offers two schedules to choose from:
Full Time Enrollment – children attend full time Monday through Friday, and pay for 5 days a week.
Part Time Enrollment – children attend a full day, 2 or 3 set days.
We do not offer half days fees. Full fees apply regardless of number of hours in attendance.
